Compensation is based on position and is $7.50 - $9.50 per hour. When the Trainee is working in a tipped position, the will be paid at the tip rate. Overtime laws apply when the Trainee works more than 40 hours in his/her scheduled week. Trainees are paid bi-weekly.

DRUG TEST
The Host Property’s are a drug free workplace. Trainees are required to submit and pass a pre-employment test for the presence of drugs.

ПРОЖИВАНИЕ
Our housing accommodations provide participants with a comfortable living experience. Each apartment has the “basics” for a comfortable living situation including kitchen cookware and utensils. Apartments are dorm style, each Trainee will share his/her bedroom with other trainees. Trainees will need to purchase bed sheets, blankets, pillows and alarm clocks.
The cost of housing, electric, water, local phone, basic cable, use of daily transportation and the monthly American Hospitality Academy Fee varies from each location and is $420.00 - $550.00 per month.

Housing Deposit – Some locations require a refundable housing security deposit ($150.00 - $250.00). This deposit is forfeited if the trainee ends their program early or does not return the housing in a clean orderly manner.

CLOTHING
Trainees will be provided with uniforms at no cost. Trainees are requested to bring the following items:

Black and Tan dress shorts
Black dress work shoes – comfortable
White tennis shoes (athletic shoes)
White button down shirt

In regards to casual wear, trainees will want to bring T-shirts, shorts and swim wear. A sweater, coat and long pants are also necessary since it does become cooler in the winter months.

TRANSPORTATION

Assistance with transportation to and from work is provided. Transportation is a frustrating aspect of our geographical area (the apartments are not in walking distance to shopping and entertainment); many trainees purchase automobiles to overcome this frustration.

ОБЩАЯ ИНФОРМАЦИЯ ПО ПРОГРАММЕ

Программа стажировки может быть предложена молодым людям в возрасте 18- 25 лет, обучающихся или закончивших обучение по специальности гостиничный или ресторанный мэнэджмент. Опыт работы, пусть даже не очень большой – 2-3 месяца конечно же всегда приветствуется. Обязательно владение английским языком на уровне intermediate.

Эти документы направляются в США, рассматриваются. Если кандидат принимается в программу, следующим обязательным этапом является телефонное интервью с работодателем.

Поэтому наличие хорошего разговорного английского является обязательным для участия в данной программе. После согласия обоюдного согласия работодателя и участника программы высылается форма DS 2019 и кандидат обращается за визой.

Виза – J1.

Продолжительность программы – 12 месяцев
Стоимость программы 3000 долларов США

Медицинская страховка не входит в стоимость программы и оплачивается дополнительно. Но является обязательной для предъявления перед выездом в США.
